I’m Federica, a Birth and Postnatal Doula and Pregnancy Yoga Teacher covering Surrey, Sussex, Kent and South London, and the founder of DoulaWithYoga. I’ve supported over 70 families through pregnancy, birth and early parenthood, and my approach brings together birth doula support, pregnancy and postnatal yoga, birth biomechanics, evidence-informed education and holistic postpartum care. I’m passionate about helping women understand how movement, positioning and the relationship between the baby, pelvis and birth space can influence labour and birth. Alongside practical birth preparation, breathing, relaxation and movement, I also offer Closing the Bones, a nurturing postpartum ritual honouring the transition into motherhood.

Before becoming a doula and yoga teacher, I worked as a Quality Analyst, which gave me a strong analytical and evidence-focused background. I’m comfortable interpreting research, data and complex medical statistics, but my real strength is making complicated information easy to understand. I help parents navigate evidence, benefits, risks and different options without overwhelming them, so they can make informed decisions that are right for them. I see doula care as complementing the NHS by providing the time, continuity, personalised education and emotional support that can be difficult to access within a busy maternity system: adding another layer of support around the medical care already available.

I’m also multilingual, speaking Italian, English, Spanish and French, and my multicultural background allows me to connect with families from different cultures and communicate in the language they feel most comfortable using. Whether I’m supporting a family through pregnancy yoga in Redhill or online, birth preparation, continuous birth doula support or postnatal care, my aim is to create an inclusive, nurturing and empowering experience where parents feel heard, respected and confident. I believe support is not a luxury: everyone deserves access to compassionate, informed and personalised support during pregnancy, birth and early parenthood.
